This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collected in Bharat EDU-LLM. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.

We employ the use of cookies. By accessing Collegites/Bharat EDU-LLM, you agreed to use cookies in agreement with our Privacy Policy.

When you join the program, we collect limited personally identifiable and professional information. This may include your name, email address, phone number, teaching role or designation, institutional affiliation, subjects taught, and content uploaded through our contribution mechanisms. In addition, we may collect optional data such as profile photos or public handles (e.g., LinkedIn) only if you choose to provide them. Activity logs related to your submissions, participation in community channels, and feedback interactions may also be recorded to improve program functionality and quality assurance.

The information collected is used primarily to administer the Contributor Program effectively. This includes personalizing your contributor experience, assigning tier status, tracking participation, recognizing individual contributions (where permission is granted), and communicating program updates. Submitted educational content may be analyzed for structure, relevance, and alignment with learning standards, and used to improve Bharat-EDU-LLM’s language and reasoning capabilities in multilingual educational settings. Your data may also support internal research and analytics aimed at enhancing the overall model training and performance.

By submitting educational content to the Program, you grant Bharat-EDU-LLM a non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, adapt, and reproduce such content for research, training, and educational purposes. You retain ownership of your original materials; however, the rights granted to us remain valid even if you discontinue participation. Public attribution of contributions (e.g., displaying your name or affiliation) will be carried out only if you have provided explicit consent through the relevant forms or communication channels.

All data collected through the Program is stored on secure servers using modern encryption standards and security protocols. Access to your personal data is strictly limited to authorized personnel responsible for managing contributions, maintaining infrastructure, or improving the model. We implement organizational and technical safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse of data. However, as with all digital services, absolute security cannot be guaranteed, and you acknowledge the associated risks of sharing content electronically.

To facilitate contributions and community engagement, we may rely on third-party platforms such as Google Forms (for content submissions), WhatsApp (for communication), and internal AI tools or data platforms (for processing educational content). These tools are used exclusively to support educational and developmental functions of the Program and are governed by their own independent privacy policies. We do not use third-party services for commercial targeting or advertising purposes.

We do not sell, rent, or transfer your personal data to external parties unrelated to the Program. If your name, photo, or institutional affiliation is displayed publicly, it will be based solely on prior opt-in consent. Such recognition may be included in contributor highlights, program success stories, tier-based acknowledgments or public shout-outs. No sensitive information, such as phone numbers or private email addresses, will ever be shared or published without explicit permission.

As a contributor, you reserve the right to request corrections or updates about your profile, and withdraw consent for any form of public recognition or communication. You may also choose to discontinue your participation in the Program at any time by notifying us via email. Upon withdrawal, your public profile (if any) will be removed, but previously submitted content will continue to be used under the license you granted at the time of submission.

We may revise this policy from time to time to reflect updates in legal requirements, data handling practices, or operational changes within the Program. Significant changes will be communicated via email or official group announcements. Your continued participation after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.
